As part of the #ErasmusDays three-day celebration of the Erasmus + programme in Europe and around the world, IPS Innovative Prison Systems hosts two informational, commemorative and sharing events.
Because we are a company dedicated to the advancement of Criminal Justice, our #ErasmusDays events are under the theme “Generating knowledge and developing skills in the criminal justice system”.
The first event is a live webinar that takes place on October 10, 2019, between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm (GMT +1 time zone).
In this webinar, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the Erasmus+ projects in which IPS is involved, how far the projects meet the Erasmus+ programme objectives, the windows of opportunity that were developed both by our participation in the programme, as well as through the results of projects already completed, including the methodologies and training programmes that have been developed.

Innovative Prison Systems (IPS) has participated or is currently participating in more than 15 Erasmus + projects. Projects under this programme set up strategic partnerships for IPS to promote innovation and the exchange of best practices in the criminal justice system.
The areas of intervention of the projects developed by IPS relate to contemporary social issues, specifically in the area of Justice and Criminal Justice, namely: 1) innovation; 2) improving skills to cope with radicalisation and extremism; 3) improving juvenile justice systems; 4) promoting the rehabilitation and reintegration of people in conflict with criminal law; and 5) sensitisation and training to deal with ageing and mental health in prisons.
