WayOut steering meeting : Building a common framework to evaluate Exit programmes

The third Steering Committee meeting of the WayOut project was held on November 25 and 26 in Brussels, an event hosted by the Federal Public Service of Justice (Belgian Prison Service).

Besides IPS_Innovative Prison Systems and the host organisation, representatives from the BSAFE LAB of University of Beira Interior (Portugal), University of Toulouse Jean Jaur賠(France), Bremen Senate of Justice and Constitution (Germany), Violence Prevention Network (Germany) and AVANS University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands) gathered with the purpose of discussing the implementation progress of three core Working Packages (namely WP3. Evaluation framework of exit programmes, WP4. Integrated exit programme, and WP5. Training course on exit strategies and implementation of the developed programme), but also to devise any upcoming activities (WP6. Stakeholders’ awareness campaign) and overcome some administrative and financial issues.
