Training and e-Learning Specialist
At IPS Innovative Prison Systems and ICJS Innovative Criminal Justice Solutions Inc., we are looking for a Training and e-Learning Specialist to enhance the competencies of individuals (our employees and professionals in the corrections’ sector) by designing and conducting training and e-learning courses.
You will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing, and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for managing all phases of training interventions.
Function description:
- Identify training needs (knowledge, skills, competencies) using different state of the art methods;
- Translate requirements into training;
- Build training programmes and prepare learning plans;
- Develop or oversee the production of learning and e-learning materials (handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals);
- Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results;
- Manage and deliver training courses;
- Manage and deliver e-learning content and courses through our online academy (see Corrections Learning Academy);
- Assess training and learning effectiveness;
- Periodically evaluate ongoing programmes;
- Stay abreast of the new trends and learning tools.
Requirements:
- BSc, MA or MSc degree in Social Sciences, Education, Training, HR or a related field;
- Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting;
- Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles;
- Proven ability to master the full training cycle;
- Adequate knowledge of learning management software;
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques;
- Ability to conduct a cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI;
- Sound decision making and organisational skills;
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences;
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools;
- Have sound planning and problem-solving skills;
- Be autonomous and organised;
- Be proactive;
- Be flexible and have a high sense of responsibility;
- Good teamwork skills;
- Have good knowledge of English.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Location: Lisbon or Covilhã.
