IT Business Analyst
To reinforce our team and support IPS Innovative Prison Systems’ projects in the field of information technology and digital transformation of criminal justice systems, we are looking for an IT Business Analyst to operate from our office in Covilhã, Castelo Branco, Portugal.
Preferred candidates should have:
- Previous experience of 1-2 years in projects as an IT Business Analyst or other related function;
- Experience in the survey of functional and non-functional requirements;
- Knowledge of business process modelling (BPMN);
- Experience in testing software;
- Fluency in English;
- Analytical and innovative spirit and be solutions oriented;
- A sense of teamwork, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
We value experience in:
- Other IT functions (e.g. development, testing, project management);
- Managing roadmaps/product backlog;
- Requirements management process.
Main responsabilities:
- Investigate and understand business cases and objectives;
- Definition of the solution scope;
- Elicitation of requirements with interviews and in workshops (Design Thinking);
- Functional Analysis including functional or technical documentation (context diagram / class diagram / ERD);
- Preparation and monitoring of user acceptance tests (UAT);
- Support organisational change management.
